The Tube of Toothpaste Technique

 

Here is a good technique for when you are having a bad day, in a bad mood, overthinking or reacting. Just think of all your thoughts, emotions and reactions as the toothpaste. You, your genuine self is the tube. There is no need to be immersed in the drama. Separate from it and maintain the calm stance as the neutral toothpaste tube. In fact, identifying with the calmness will help expel much more of what is not you. The goal is a calm relaxed state at all times. To do this is tapping into wisdom.
