Is Anyone Listening?

If you are engaging someone, and you cannot relinquish your stance to totally be inside the experience of being them for a instance, to understand their point of view, then you aren’t truly listening.

If you are waiting for them to finish just so you get your turn to educate them, then you aren’t truly listening.

If you have no intention of budging on your stance one iota and you are just being present to be polite, you aren’t truly listening.

If you are tuning them out to get the facts straight in your mind before you pummel them, you are not truly listening.

If what they say gets you upset and you must interrupt them to set them straight, you aren’t truly listening.

If you care less about their feelings or your relationship with them than being right, then you aren’t truly listening.

If you already know your mind and are just indulging them to be polite, then you aren’t truly listening.

Is anyone listening?

The Cross Roads

We are at a fork in the road of evolution. The way we think, react, believe and interact has all been conditioned into us and has led us down a dark path. We have forgotten our personal strength and ability to forge our own way.
We have relinquished the mighty adventure of a rustic life filled with scraped knees, bruised dreams and hopeful intentions. We have relinquished that satisfying feeling of falling into bed completely exhausted and content for the uneasy ability to slip into a soft, complacency.
We have chosen the mushy unfulfilling fate of conformity for far too long. It has led us to the brink of disaster in a morally corrupt world where we blatantly allow elected officials to desecrate humanity. Every time we use our energy to judge, attack or diminish, someone else, we are reinforcing the debauchery of the standards set for us in an archaic time.
We have evolved beyond the limitation of allowing insecure, unbalanced men from forging our future. We have indulged in our own petty whims of indifference and grudge matches that are like dull little droplets that converge into creating the path forward in an dismal future. We have chosen “fear” for far too long.
It is time for all of us to reassess the reactionary state in which we live. When is the last time we made a selfish choice? Was it really selfish or was it just unpopular to the status quo? How did we find ourselves sitting in a soft chair throwing disparaging intentions to others with no more ill intentions than our own? We are so angry at ourselves for being complacent but are so complacent that we don’t realize we are angry at all, let alone with ourselves,
So we throw nasty comments into the computer screen hoping they will stick somewhere. We hope to get a rise out of someone. Hope to get a reaction somewhere. Only for the hope to know that we still have the ability to make a difference by hurting someone who is at arms length; who we may never meet. It is so easy that way; isn’t it?
Yet we play right into the hands of those who wish to control us. We have chosen to play it small. We are mad at ourselves for our limited role and so we attack others we can not see in a home we cant know and use this to feel empowered. Instead, we need to merely, use our discipline and strength to forgo assaulting others from afar. This merely sets the precedent of what we do as a collective.
Every time you exercise a gracious act, withdraw from a justified attack, refrain from arguing or one-upping another, you are steering all of humanity clear of a disaster. You are at the helm. You, in your seemingly small insignificant life, are the blueprint for how humanity ventures forward. The more you choose honorably on all sides, the more you will see honor reflected in our collective world. That is the secret of life.
The secret of life has always been that it is not what happens to benefit you that matters. It is what you do and how you proceed to benefit others. The quality of life for all of humanity improves when the quality of your own thoughts and intentions improve. How often do you give thought to the well being of people on the other side of the planet?
We can build all the walls we want to but that doesn’t preclude us from breathing the same air as others, having our hearts beat in rhythm with them, and having the same hopes and dreams for our loved ones as they do. Could you love a dog that was rejected, abused or neglected on the other side of the world? Then why can we not love a person the same way? Why are we conditioned to feel so robbed when another person thrives. Why does it have to be “us vs them”? Is there not room for all to thrive?
It is time to uncover those little pockets of indifference and the conditioned responses that glaze us over. It is time for us to live, love, react and forge on with a one heart intention, Because like it or not, we are all in this together. The whole process of war brings us to a realization of commonality. We can come to that conclusion without the devastation. We don’t need the harsh lessons to awaken ourselves. All we need to do take better heed of our own intentions and send them out in the spirit of inclusiveness instead of division.

Why I Want to Be Famous. or……… SAVE THE TREES!!!

I was watching the Hallmark Channel. They have Christmas movies on. I had to turn many of them off. They all had a similar theme of an old-fashioned Christmas. It is formula. In so many of them cutting down the biggest Balsam or fir-tree is an important theme.
I can’t watch such ignorance being perpetuated on the viewer. Romanticizing the killing of a majestic tree that has lived nearly a hundred years is NOT heart warming. It is sickening. Perpetuating such ignorance to sell a brand of greeting cards is appalling.
The cutting down of trees was a FAD started in the eighteen hundreds that stuck. A popular magazine in the days wrote an expose on an English royal couple. They had a live tree in their house so everyone had to have one too. Now we cut down trees with little understanding of what our ignorance is doing.
My goal is actually to become very famous. This is why. If I was known as well as that couple in the magazine article, maybe people would listen to me when I explained why NOT to cut down trees. They are wise, conscious, living beings. They are to be respected and listened to. They imbue wisdom on all whose listen. They even heal the ills of man without man ever realizing where the assistance is coming from. Trees are living, breathing unconditional love.
Killing trees is equivalent to killing the heart of humanity. It needs to stop. Selfish ignorance has become to prevalent these days. It is necessary for man to stop living in primal mode where he does just what feels good in the moment without thinking of the consequences. He must transcend being in primal, reactionary mode. Trees are our lifeline to higher consciousness. Please do this exercise and save some trees.

When the Noisy World Disturbs You

The trees are absorbing sound for you. That is what they do. The more appreciation you give the trees around you, the more they will be able to help. Houseplants can absorb the sound from inside and even planting more trees or foliage outside help. It is the intention that will do it.
Your personal frequency is very high so the negative noises and interactions are there to balance yours. The cars in a sense, are driving by to mess with you. Not in an intentional way but a random way. You may already get a sense of this. It is true. The more you can accept that the world wants to vibrate with the resonance of you, the more you will stop feeling like a victim of the noise.
That is important because feeling like a victim closes down your energy and then you are not as comfortable in you bliss. So if you can counter the noises with gratitude that others are desperately seeking what you have, you can keep your energy open. Because gratitude opens up the chakras. In that way, you will be gifting all around you, the ability to match your resonance. That is very healing for the planet and for humanity.

Love’s Decree

If you don’t appreciate trees, can’t tolerate animals, don’t like people that are different than you, do not care about your surroundings, then you don’t love God.

If you complain, argue, judge, or argue, you are desecrating God.

If you profess doom, in any little increments, you are cursing life in some say and working against God.

Church is not a building that stays empty most of the week. Your day is your church, your interactions are your pulpit and your actions are your altar.

How you treat others in those quiet moments with no one watching is you kneeling before God. Words are merely demonstrative for effect if your actions do not align with your truth. These quiet moments in your mind and heart are your gauge to whether you honor God or work in contrast to Love’s decree.

Love Soup

People have the misunderstanding that life is easy. It is an illusion that parents want to perpetuate in their children. They want this to be so. Without the concept of past lives, whole families live in the denial that we all start here from scratch at birth. That everything that we experience as a family should be similar because all those who started out in a family have the same DNA and environment. Those who do everything within the norm are fine. But when a member diverts from that script, they are flawed.

It isn’t so. It can be. But that seems to happen less and less. Because we are all privy to other families now. We don’t live in such sequestered little groups any more. We know what pain, angst and division other families live with. Because of that, we accept are own situation more as normal.

There is still the illusion of the perfect family, the perfect life and the perfect home. Who has this? There seems to still be an illusion of it. This all leads to going to the perfect heaven. There is always a goal dangling at the end of a stick. But how about this: we make our “perfect life” with the raw materials that we are given and the perfect heaven is as unconventional and diverse as we all are.

Life is like the school project where we all get the same perimeters to create it but some children run with the project more than others. It could be considered like a race; and each lifetime is like a lap on the track. Some appear to be farther ahead when they are just actually at different places in that particular turn. Or maybe it is like a pyramid scheme where the more people you get to go along with you, the more perks that you gain. It is all in perspective.

I like to think of life as a big pot of Love soup. Some people are chunky bites and some are little morsels. Some people are the flavoring and enhance the flavor of everyone. Some people collect on the sides and refuse to participate. But all in all, we are all the same and have much more freedom than we realize.
